We want to come up with a new policy for our employees who work on weekends as well. So, if anybody has any ideas, information, or suggestions about weekend working policies in your companies, please share the details.

Dear friend,

Is your company covered under the Factory Act or the Shops and Establishment Act? Whichever act may be applicable, I recommend you refer to the regulations of your state. Provisions for granting compensatory time off for working on a weekly off are outlined in the act. If you have any queries regarding these provisions or any other related matters, feel free to ask on this forum.

Dear Friend,

For different levels, policies may vary, and the type of establishments will also differ. The Sop Act and Factories Act both provide guidelines, mainly for non-supervisory staff/workers. Please specify the levels and locations.

In a 5 days working IT company (8 Hrs shift and Fixed Sat-Sun off). If someone is working on Saturday , should company pay them 1 day extra or 2 days
