There are many games which can be played in the office premises for team building. one such game which we played was:
Material: chart paper, balloons, crayons
Instructions: Make groups and ask them to name their groups. put a few crayons in each balloon, blow it and tie it sumwhr high. then you ask each group to think of a story. u make chits of several things (For e.g: rain, bhajiya, gal, telephone, teddy bear etc.....) and ask each team to pick atleast 5 chits. then they have to use all the items mentioned in d chit in their story. THEY HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THEIR OWN CRAYONS. FIRST CUM FIRST SERVE. whichever team gets d balloon or balloons d crayons r theirs and draw it on d chart paper. they have to present d story in a very innovative manner. it is FUN!!!

  • Hi,
Write down a few funny words, and ask everyone to write down a story on it, within an Hour, ask them to add much humor in the story. Let everyone sit in a circle. Collect all the Humorous stories, and re distribute it among the employees randomly. Now ask someone to read it aloud from one corner.

  • Hi Friend,
You could try out the following and since these are (as mentioned alongside) some activities conducted in well-known Organisations am sure you may find them fruitful also:
    a) Pani-puri competition - Tata Teleservices
    b) Arts competition for Kids - Reliance Communications
    c) Chess or Suduku break - TCS
    d) Collective B'day celeberations - BPOs like Aegis/Wipro
    e) Lunchtime games - Cadbury
    f) Kite flying competitions - Reliance
The crux should be participation and recognition to motivate further and bond better.
    Cheers!

  • Hello,
For team building you can play one of the game which is quite popular.
You have to make a pairs to two people they might be good friend at office anyone, then tie a cloth one one partner's eye and ask other partner to hold his hand and walk few steps. the path might be uneven so that second partner have to instruct first one.
This will show if 1st partner can blindly trust on anyone, also if second partner is cheating him, if there is coordination between them, how long they can walk or trust each other, etc.

  • Dear Jhansi Peter,
You can browse the net for ice breaker games and there are plenty and you can choose the best game based on the target audience.
In the event you need to conduct any events/ programmes for a larger audience the best bet would be to hire an event manager. These guys are professionals in the field and you can actually outsource your programme organising to them. They not only engage the employees, they bring performers who can entertain the audience on stage, arrange for backdrops, audio video systems, gifts, programmes based on themes selected by you and so on. Of course they charge a professional fee + cost of the material depending upon your choice of events.
In case you need any further help please feel free to e - mail me at
