Dear Team,

We are having a quarterly sales review meeting in the coming month. We want to have interactive sessions among team members. We are also planning to play some team-building and motivational games. Can anybody suggest how to make the review meeting a memorable experience and share a list of games for the team?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Sankalp,

Do you have evidence that shows that team building games motivate salespersons and that motivation, in turn, improves their productivity? If yes, would you mind sharing this evidence on this forum? It would be educational for other members here.

The feedback given in the field is the number one motivating factor for the salespersons, though there are other factors as well. Please call me on my mobile, and I will explain how to enhance performance.

Thanks,

Dear Sir,

I respect your comment. I know you have vast knowledge compared to me. I also want to inform you that I am a subscriber of your YouTube channel and watch your videos to enhance my knowledge. I am amazed at my question now, but I believe it always has an impact if anything can be taught through interactive sessions like plays, games, etc. I am asking for a few suggestions only.

Thank you.

Dear Sankalp,

It is not a question of who has what level of knowledge. My point is limited to ROI on each activity. We, as HR professionals, must take accountability for the activities that we undertake.

A large number of HR professionals do not measure the ROI, and that is why they are not valued. I do not wish you to join their bandwagon. Hence, my questions.

The productivity of the salespersons is a complex subject, and if a few games were to improve it, then the world would have been a far easier place to live in. But that is not the case.

Thanks,
