Can you please tell me , if the IP avail the medical benefit from the ESIC designated hospital the full expense is free or IP first spend the money and then he will get reambersment.

Certainly, it is valuable information. However, I would like to ask for some clarifications.

Nowadays, after the usage of a group insurance scheme, I think ESI has lost its importance. Anyway, my question is that the factory where I am currently working is not going for ESI contribution even though the total number of persons working exceeds 20. Kindly provide the clarifications.

If an retired person(Age 70 yrs) joined in pvt job having gross salary is lessthan Rs15000/- per month. Will he eligible for ESI act and can we deduct ESI contributions from him???? Pls confirm

Dear Sankar, ESI is always sesucted o earned salary but he must be eligible as he must be getting the salary of less than 15001/- rgds sachin pathak
