Blacklist - Blacklisted Companies

I've recently had to cut short my notice period which I had been serving at Wipro, due to my mum's health not being well. Now, I've not presented docs relating to this to the company yet, but I am afraid that I may be blacklisted. I am really tensed. Is this going to end my career for good in private companies???

Wow.....As a HR let me clear this matter as simple as it can be. No employee can be blacklisted if Notice Period not served-straight termination or absconding case would be the next step taken by management.
In your case, pay money from your upcoming salary to adjust notice period and ask them to cut your leaves. In this way, your resignation would be accepted and company will provide you with experience certificate. If you have not provided relevant docs, get the proof from the doctor like written statement or hospital/medicine bills.
All the best!!

I am an undergraduate, BTW, who is not registered with the NSR. Now the thing is that my family has already shifted the base for my mum's treatment in a hurry, so it may be quite a while before I can get back to putting in the documents. So, what kind of severe consequences am I looking at???? Because I can't go back before she is up and well.

Hello,

Like other members suggested, pl talk to the concerned HR AND ALSO your boss.

Next step, mail the scanned copies of the medical reports, bills, etc to your boss & HR putting across your request for extension of NP.

As long as the HR & your boss are convinced that this is a genuine case & NOT some story made-up for whatever reasons....which can be done by just speaking the truth & laying ALL the facts on the table.....you shouldn't be worrying.

And what does this line mean ".........so it may be quite a while before I can get back to putting in the documents"?

What's being suggested in this Forum is to submit the relevant Medical Bills of your mother's treatment........I am sure you are where your mother is....right?

IF you are referring to the process of SUBMISSION to Wipro, then you already have the alternate way....MAIL to them AFTER speaking & explaining over phone.

And also inform the situation about delay in getting relieved to your new Company........they need to be prepared your delayed joining.

BTW, not being registered with NSR has nothing to do with this case.

Rgds,

TS
