Hi,

Let me ask you some questions first. Why do you want to pursue CS? Are you clear about the roles and responsibilities of CS? What help do you want to seek from this forum? Do explain that as it would be easier once the query is asked with details... :)

Dear Asma,

CS is altogether a corporate profession. CS functions consist of Corporate Laws - Companies Act, SEBI Rules and Regulations, Listing Compliances, Contractual Laws, Competition Laws, etc., sometimes even HR laws. Hence, be clear about what you want in your life.

Asma,

Why do you want to pursue CS? You have experience in HR and education but are shifting into a different field? What do you want to do in the future?

Yes, I am clear about the CS role. Actually, I always wanted to pursue corporate law, but I could not. Now, I want to start all over again. I think being a BCom and MBA holder, I will get exemptions from a few modules of CS. I want to work as an independent CS after completion. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Dear Asma,

Doing CS is a very good and courageous decision. A person should pursue what interests them. If you want to know more about exemptions, you can log in to the ICSI website. Wishing you good luck.
