Query Regarding Salary For Embedded Systems Engineers

We are a German-based software development company in Chennai, specialized in embedded systems and mainframes. I would like to know how much salary an embedded systems engineer with 3 years of experience draws and what the hike he/she gets every year.

Thank you for the question. Usually, an embedded engineer will be drawing 3.5 to 5.5 L/A, considering the factor that the candidate is from Chennai and has 3+ years of experience. However, we can find the candidate drawing in the range of 2.20 to 3.5 L/A, who has solid 3+ years of experience. I am not aware of embedded system engineer compensation details. However, a normal mainframe professional's salary typically starts as follows (Per Annum CTC):

An embedded systems engineer with 3 years of relevant experience could take home anything between 4-6 Lacs and a maximum of 7 Lacs if he has worked on some niche technology. The hike per year is again dependent on a few factors; however, the general trend in Bangalore (guess even elsewhere) has been in the range of 20% - 45%.
