Dear Seniors..
Am Yogesh, working in a private manufacturing company as an HR.
my question is..i know that in case of any kind of changes in a factories respect to the number of employees, chicaneries etc, old license to be amended and certain extra fee to be paid. But..i cant find any documents and official records which confirms what i said above. So i request the seniors to please tell me and give me any material in which it has been said and accepted. And please tell in what section in factories act it has been explained.

As Mr. Verghese suggested , please refer to karnataka state Factory rules. For example, in case of Maharastra, Rule (7) deals with amendment of license in case of any cahnege in the name of the factory, or limit in the use of horse power in the license or the number of persons employed. There must be similar provisison in karnataka Factory Rules.

I referred The Karnataka Factories Rules-1969. In rule 6, clause 2(b) it has been said that in case any changes occurred in a factory with respect to the name, number of employees and machinery of that factory then the old license is to be amended and a new license to be taken from the Labour Department by paying amendment fee of Rs.100.
