Hi Ridhi,
A HR Generalist is a kind of Admin and he is to look after Salary,PF-ESI, Personal Files,all kind of Billing and attendance too.He/She is the main person who is looking after the CL,EL and all leaves status+ All the Identity card and all issuing goods and facitlities to the employee for records and MIS and little bit intracting for recruitment,if given then.
This is a very responsible position.

Role of HR Generalist can vary org to org. Suggest to refer job descriptions in popular job sites and compare. If wanted to know role in a specific industry, then perform search, accordingly

Hi Ridhi, dear you can get the complete details from my old posted threads whatever you are looking for, following by the link https://www.citehr.com/search.php?searchid=3561884 but one thing i wanna know that have you ever tried go thru the old post and postes between two or three days, have you ever used search engine on Cite for your queries or answer of your questions.
Why im saying this bcz i have seen and also posted the answers on the same question every after two or three days. so go thru my old post and get the ansr of your question..

You name him “Hr Generalist”, “Manager –HR”, “Manager -Per. & Admn.” or any other nomenclature, his job is to look after the phases of employment i.e., RECRUIT, RETAIN AND RETIRE.
THE JOB OF H R IS:
TO HIRE A RIGHT CANDIDATE IN A RIGHT PLCAE AT A RIGHT TIME,
DURING EMPLOYMENT TO INSPIRE HIM, ADMIRE HIS SERVICES.
AT THE END LET HIM RETIRE PEACEFULLY FROM HIS SERVICES.

HR Generalist are one of the most exciting profiles . HR Generalist profile will have a combination of various HR sub functions . Apart from recruitment they will also actively involve in Performance & Training . For any beginner to start with HRG is the best option . It also involves transcation work in HR .

Orientation:Induction
Joining Formalities
Preparing Offer letters,Appointment Letters
Exit formalities
Employee Engagement Activities
Performance Appraisal
Employee Relations
Recruitment in few companies
Payroll Process
Training & Development
Maintenance of employee files
Few companies divide these roles between HR,Admin and accounts.
