Dear All,
Since most of you are professionals who have been in the HR profession for quite some time, I am sure this is the right forum to ask this question. When you recruit management trainees, what are you looking for essentially? I mean, I know it's kind of a funny question. I am doing my M.B.A right now, specializing in HR. At the end of the year, everyone in the HR field will have the same thing on their C.V. - a Postgraduate certificate, a 2-month summer internship, 2-3 projects, a certificate in inter-college debates, quizzes, etc. What differentiating factors are you looking for in a candidate that make them stand out from the crowd? What are the broad parameters on which you judge a candidate and select them?
It would be great if I could get some answers to this as it would really help in shaping my career and securing a good job.

Hi Friend,
The first thing an HR personnel looks at is the communication skills. Secondly, we look at the aptitude for the practical implementation of their theoretical knowledge. This is followed by situation analysis, judgment capability, etc.
