Hi,

I want to open an IT consultancy firm in India. My goal is to recruit manpower and send them to onsite projects in Japan, China, the US, and the UK.

I have the following knowledge:
- I have the name of a private limited company.
- We have an office in NCR Region.
- We work on turnkey-based projects.

Questions:
- For sending individuals to different countries, do we need any licenses?
- How do we process visas under the company name?

Can anyone please let me know how to start a new venture? I am a core technical person and have no idea about these procedures.

Please, can anyone help me?

Regards,
Shobhit

Hi Shobhit,

As per my knowledge, there would not be required any license to send employees onsite. You may need the invitation letter from the client for which the candidate is going. We can process the L1 visa only through the company name for which the employee should be with the current company for at least 1 year. For H1, you may need all these details required for the L1 visa. For the UK, you may send the candidates under HSMP visa, which is for a maximum of 2 years. For Germany and Japan, candidates may be on a work permit that needs the invitation letter from the client. Please let me know if you have any queries on this.

Regards,
Dhiraj

The document is very useful. Thanks. But additionally, I wanted to know what legal formalities we have to complete, like:

- Do we need any license for it? If yes, what is the procedure for it?
- Any sort of registration?
- Documents required?
etc....

Thanks in advance.
