Dear Gauli.Nitin, Form "U" is the combined Annual Return, under S&CE Act. The same shall serve the purpose of Contact Labour Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act & Maternity Benefit Act.

Your question regarding leave can be answered as follows:
Leave with wages in S&CE Act is, where an employee is eligible for 1 Leave with wages after every 20 working days in case of adult, 1 day every 15 days in case of young person. For more information refer: S&CE Act-Chapter IV.

- Earned/paid Leave: 1 day leave for every 20 working days, credited to the leave account in the next calendar year. The leave calculation period will be the calendar year.
- Casual Leave: 12 days leave per annum
Both types of leave are calculated on a pro-rata basis.
