hello..i am studying SYBMS. most of my frenz are preparing for CAT n other exams for MBA. but ive planned to wait for a year after TY, take a break from studies for abt a year or so...work in HRM and study for CAT alongside.....n then give it in 2007 or 8......dependin on my work...
but i m scared...as i dont want to waste my 2 years workin......i know its not wastin actually but m scared if im makin the wrong chocie...coz all the frenz i know r givin cat in 2006,
my main worry is tht will i get a job in a company in Hr dept just with a BMS degree?n will i be ble to continue my studies after this break?

Hi Sunayna,
BMS is a good course ...but are you getting into some kind of specialization in SY/TY?
Frankly speaking,it is difficult finding job in the field of HR without any specialisation. You may end up with an Associate's post or something similar.
Incase you are inclined towards HR as your career..Would suggest you to take up CAT or equivalent tests after completing graduation.
So, ideal thing would be take up some job which allows you to focus you on your CAT prepeartions.

this way i enhance my skills n have practical knowledge
the only thing m scared abt is will i get a job after BMS

n frankly ...i wldnt mind a post of associate...i mean i am not expectin more thn tht anyways. associate wld be perfect...it wld gimme experience n time to study? isnt it/.?
