Dear Abirami,
It depends solely on your individual company policy, but usually formal trousers with a blazer during the weekdays, and jeans on Saturdays, are considered appropriate. For the weekdays, a sari is another alternative.

Hi,
It depends on the company and its location. However, the widely used dress code for female executives is formal shirts with trousers. Some industries incorporate their national traditional clothing as the dress code, and salwar is also commonly used in Indian companies.
Ultimately, whatever dress code is chosen, it should be comfortable for employees to carry out their duties and maintain the company's status.

Dress code for anyone, not necessarily for female HR executives.
If you have a company policy or uniform, you have no choice but to wear it. If there is no company policy or uniform, then wear what suits you rather than wearing what you like! Many of us make the mistake of wearing what we like.
Salwar and sarees are common in manufacturing, while salwars and trousers are generally practiced in BPOs and the IT sector. However, wear what suits you! That is very important.

I doubt you people what you say. Maybe I should click some snaps of IT and BPO employees wearing decent dresses and post them in this forum. Then maybe you can define what the decent dress code is. :P :P :P :P :P :P

Hi,
Dress code - should be decent and one should carry it properly. Basically, since you represent the company, the attire should be what suits you the best. As a matter of practice in IT/ITES - the most commonly used and comfortable formals are formal trousers and a shirt. A blazer can be added if required for meetings, trainings, or during walk-ins/recruitment.
Thanks, Shalini

Hi there,
Well, this happens to be my first post. I would like to introduce myself. I am Gaurav. Fortunately, I am a VnA trainer. It's been close to six and a half years that I have been working for international BPOs; thankfully, I have now recently switched over to KPOs. Simply loving it...
I happened to come across this site when I was searching for training material on American Culture and Accent training. It was somewhat helpful. It's fun reading everyone's comments. I will probably post mine someday...
