One day, all the employees reached the office and saw a big notice on the door that read: "Yesterday, the person who had been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym."

Initially, they all felt sad for the loss of their colleague. However, as time passed, they grew curious to know who the person was that had hindered their growth and that of the company. The excitement in the gym became so intense that security agents were instructed to control the crowd in the room. The more people approached the coffin, the more the excitement escalated. Each person thought to themselves, "Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!"

One by one, the intrigued employees moved closer to the coffin. When they peered inside, they were rendered speechless. They stood by the coffin, stunned and silent, as if something had touched the deepest part of their souls.

Inside the coffin was a mirror: everyone who looked into it could see themselves. Next to the mirror was a sign that read: "There is only one person who is capable of setting limits to your growth: it is YOU."

You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your fulfillment, and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself.

Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you transcend your limiting beliefs, when you acknowledge that you are the sole one responsible for your life.

"The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself."

The world is like a mirror: it reflects back to each individual the thoughts they have strongly believed in. The world and your reality are like mirrors placed in a coffin, showing each person the death of their divine ability to imagine and create their happiness and success.

"It's the way you face life that makes the difference."

Its a very good piece! If all of us start thinking the same, we would never blame others for hindering our performances and will always set examples for others. Keep writing!! :) Cheers! Shringarika

Hi Hrzzz,

I want to add something:

"What you want to see in others, you must first see inside yourself. What you expect from others, you must first expect from yourself. Life is just a mirror."

Cheers!

Hi Deva,

Very thought-provoking indeed.

I feel this habit of blaming others for our own inefficiency is a good way to explain why things didn't happen as we continue to stay in our comfort zone.

Hi Deva,

It's excellent. You are right and tell us how to take the mirror from the coffin. I mean to ask you how to make ourselves alive. Any suggestions? You have pointed out that we are responsible for hindering our own performance. So, give suggestions to all. Thank you.

Kavitha Babu
