Your wages at the time of joining the fund should be less than Rs 15,000, but your employer had not contributed to the Pension Fund. The EPFO requires clarification as to why the amount payable by the employer, i.e., 12% of wages, is contributed exclusively to the Provident Fund without bifurcating it as 8.33% to the Pension Fund and the remaining 3.67% only to the Provident Fund. This clarification is required from your employer, and they have to send a corrected ECR. Please contact the employer and ask them to do the needful.

Agreeing with T.K. Madhu Sir, I would like to add one more thing. It might have happened that while registering the member in the employer portal, his EPF/basic wages were more than 15000. However, the employer might have entered 15000 or less in the column "as on joining EPF wages," making the employee eligible for pension. This discrepancy could be the reason for the error being displayed.
The solution is for the employer to write a letter to EPFO explaining the situation. The letter can also be sent through mail.

Hi,
- If your PF wages are 15000, you are an EPS Member; if more than 15000, you are not a pension member.
- If you were an EPS Member in your previous employment PF, the same will continue in your present employment.
- Kindly check with your employer and submit the rework Form 3A to the EPFO Office.
