Is Law degree beneficial after working as HR in India? Or Company Secretary+ HR is a better combination?

A law degree is definitely beneficial, and a sound understanding of law would help in compliance matters and general administration. Knowledge of the Company Secretary course is not complementary to the HR field and has limited utility. Indeed, it is the other way around; a company secretary with HR knowledge would be in a better position to discharge the duties.
