Hello everyone, I'm a Cyber Psychology Researcher, and my query is regarding digital parenting and employee productivity. I want to know:

Have you observed that digital parenting issues cause anxiety and stress among employees who are parents of pre-teens or teenagers? And could this be a reason for productivity loss?

We come from a generation where we had parents who had absolute control over us. The world was small, and parents were the central figure. When we grew up and became parents, we were told of parenting. Now with one more generation getting added, we are into digital parenting. So what's next?

There is enough for the parents to worry about as virtually the parents have to surrender their mobiles and laptops to the three and four-year-olds, and they have become so adept at using them that they may go searching anywhere and log in anywhere and everywhere. Now, with the pandemic times and Work From Home, the parents and grandparents are at the receiving end, and their online activities are being regulated by the toddlers.

The anxiety over the use being made of and the urge to keep up with the Joneses is prevalent among the parents of teenagers. The reach and expanse of the teen world knows no boundaries. Ideas are floating around in the virtual world, it could be for the betterment or for the worst fear happening. It certainly induces stress and anxiety affecting the employee parents' performance at the workplace.
