How to Pay PT on Salary Arrears - We have given a payment hike in the month of June instead of April

Dear All, We have given a payment hike in the month of June instead of April and now we have calculated arrears for two months. my query is how to pay the PT difference.

PT on the difference will be paid in the month in which the arrears is paid.
But it will impact only if the arrears is taking the employee from one slab to another slab

Otherwise, why will it make a difference.
