Hello HR Team,

I would like to withdraw the PF that was with Cognizant and Capgemini. Please let me know the process to do so as I have not transferred the PF during the period, and no company contact details are available regarding this. Kindly assist.

To withdraw your EPF from previous employers like Cognizant and Capgemini without having transferred the funds, follow these steps:

1. Locate Your UAN: Ensure you have your Universal Account Number (UAN) handy. You can find this on your payslips or by contacting your current employer or checking the EPFO portal.

2. Activate UAN: If your UAN is not activated, do so by visiting the EPFO portal and following the activation process.

3. Check EPF Balance: Verify your EPF balance through the EPFO portal or by sending an SMS to the designated number.

4. Fill Withdrawal Form: Download the EPF withdrawal form from the EPFO portal. For offline withdrawal, fill out Form 19 for EPF withdrawal and Form 10C for EPS withdrawal.

5. Submit Form: Submit the filled form to the EPFO office in Bhubaneswar or the jurisdiction where your previous employer's EPF office is located.

6. Claim Status: Track your claim status online through the EPFO portal using your UAN.

7. KYC Verification: Ensure your KYC details such as Aadhar, PAN, and bank account are linked and verified with your UAN for a smooth withdrawal process.

8. Contact EPFO: If you face any issues or need assistance, you can contact the EPFO helpline at 1800118005.

By following these steps, you can initiate the withdrawal process for your EPF from Cognizant and Capgemini without having transferred the funds during your employment period.
