Dear Sir,
ESIC has changed its rate of contribution from 1.75% to 1% for Employees and from 4.75% to 4% for Employers. How will the calculation be done in the month of Feb-2019?
It will be calculated as follows:
- From the 1st to the 14th at 1% for Employees and 4% for Employers.
- From the 15th to the 28th at 1% for Employees and 4% for Employers.
If there have been any other amendments in ESIC regarding the contribution rates, how were they dealt with previously? If there are any references available, please do share them. I am attaching a JPEG of the update.
