Hi,
Since I am a newcomer, I need your advice. I had a phone interview, got selected, and received an email stating that it's a firm offer of employment, and a hard copy will be issued once I join. The email mentions the CTC and the joining date.
However, four days before joining the new company, they called me to inform that the offer letter is being withdrawn as they have sold the department to another entity, the very department I was hired for.
Now, please help me understand how much compensation I should ask for if they are willing to pay. If not, how can I handle this situation?
Thanks in advance for your help.
