An employee working in Bangalore has been transferred to hyderabad, is he eligible to get the revised CTC structure of Hyderabad with CTC remaining the same.
From India, Bengaluru
At times, C.T.C can not remain fixed in the same year for which it is projected. In view of salary revision due to whatever reasons like transfer of the employee, promotion, revision of pay scales etc., which happens within the projected year, it is bound to change accordingly. When an employee gets transferred to another State, the minimum rates of wages prevailing for his /her employment in the State would become automatically applicable, if the rates of Wages in the previous State were less. Therefore, his C.T.C would also get revised accordingly.

Under such a case if one is paid considering the minimum wages, the ctc will be adjusted to match the minimum wages of the area employee is working in. However total CTC may not change unless one is being transferred from an area of low minimum wages to high minimum wages, as explained by respected contributor Umakant sir.

Dear Friend,
Revision as per state is imminent, but it can only be upward revision. There are only following two situations -
A. From higher minimum wage state to lower minimum wage state - no revision required.
B. From lower minimum wage state to higher minimum wage state - upward revision required to match.
Warm Regards
