Dear Mr Jithin, Minimum Service of 5 Year is not applicable for Death while in Service.Consequently, Employee in question is eligible for Gratuity for the service rendered

I have a query that if any employee's service is less than six months at the time of his death while on duty ,whether his nominee will be entitled for payment of Gratuity under Section4(c) of the Payment of Gratuity Act,1972.
