Hi all,
I was working in one small organization and I got an opportunity in a big MNC. I received a resignation confirmation email from the small organization. However, the big MNC requested the same information on company letterhead. After much discussion, my old company informed me that they cannot provide anything on company letterhead until the Full and Final settlement is completed. Since I had already left that company, I created a fake resignation acceptance letter and submitted it to the new organization.
A week after joining, I received an email stating that the resignation letter I provided was not accepted by my old company, and they require my justification. I am very afraid and unsure of what to do. I could simply leave the company, but I do not want to face any legal issues. I am considering not going back and making an excuse, such as being unwell. If they wish, they can terminate me, but I want to avoid any legal problems.
Please advise me on what to do promptly.

Don’t worry they won’t go legal. Just explain them the whole situation. It will help. If you got the relieving letter now submit it.

Dear,
Please check if your current employer allows you to submit or present a resignation email with confirmation of acceptance from your small organization. Sometimes it is better to explain the present real situation instead of creating a fake scenario.

Hi all,
Thanks for your suggestions. I don't think I have any option to explain anything. The day I got the mail from the BGV team that it's a fake document and I have to give an explanation, I was so scared that I stopped going there. It's the 3rd day, and till now, I have not received any call or mail from that organization. Even now, I am not feeling good about rejoining there again.
I am looking for another option. All I want to know is that after this incident, can they put my profile on a blacklist? Am I eligible to join another organization? Is there a possibility that if I am blacklisted by that organization, I will not be eligible for any other opportunities?
Can they take any legal action against me because I'm not going to the office after that? Please advise me.
