1. Basic - usually taken as 50% of CTC (depends on the company, sometimes 40-50%) ---- 50% * 300000 = 150000
2. HRA - 40% of basic ---- 150000 * 40% = 60000
3. For medical allowance, you can't exceed beyond 15000 per annum ---- 15000
4. For conveyance, you can't exceed beyond 19200 ---- 19200
So, the total is 150000 + 60000 + 15000 + 19200 = 244200. Therefore, the remaining amount is your special allowance, which is 300000 - 244200 = 55800.
Final break up:
- Basic -- 150000
- HRA -- 60000
- Medical allowance -- 15000
- Conveyance -- 19200
- Special Allowance -- 55800
Total = 300000
