Dear,
Recruitment is a part of HR itself. So if you are working with any consultancy as a recruiter, then you may get into corporate HR as a Recruiter as many companies prefer candidates from recruitment agencies for HR-Recruiter profiles. Companies belonging to industries such as insurance, BPO, stockbroking, etc., where mass recruitment takes place, will prefer your profile. However, exceptions are always present, and other companies may shortlist your profile, but that is subjective and in very rare cases.
If you want to enter the HR department for another profile like T&D, Payroll, Ops, etc., then your current profile will not be of much help. For that, either do a 3-6 months internship in any of the above fields from any company, gain practical experience and an experience letter, and then try for a job. Alternatively, enter the corporate world with a recruitment profile and then try to learn other things alongside from your reporting head and convince him for job rotation. Based on your learning attitude and hard work, you can eventually get the profile you desire.
Hope now you will be able to decide what to do.
For any further suggestions or clarity, you can directly write to me.
