Regarding KPIs and KRAs, I have been providing my responses every other day, and this is another one.
May I ask about your designation? You have mentioned a few designations for which you need KRAs. To whom do these individuals report? It is the senior's responsibility to prepare the KRAs for the juniors.
To develop KPIs and KRAs, one must study the systems and processes of each department and then create the KPIs and KRAs. Subsequently, these KRAs are assigned to the respective HOD. Before conducting the performance evaluation, we need to issue a KRA sheet to each employee at the beginning of the performance cycle. At the end of the performance cycle, they are expected to provide evidence of the attainment of their performance. Questions are asked to understand gaps in performance.
However, if you have not provided a KRA sheet at the beginning of the performance cycle or if the KRAs are not designed properly, there will not be an accurate measurement. This could lead to asking wrong questions, and even if the right questions are asked, the answers received could be incorrect or irrelevant.
