Hello to All,

I am working with the small software company as an HR Executive, and this is my first experience here. As Diwali is approaching, our employees with a salary less than 10000/m are asking for a bonus. However, to my knowledge, Festival Bonus is not typically given in the software industry. Is this correct, or am I mistaken? Please help me clarify my doubt about whether a bonus should be given to employees (engineers) in the IT industry or not.

Employee is the Asset,,, Diwali comes once in a year,,,, Management can decide for the Benefit of Employees....

Yes, you are right. Diwali comes once a year, and for that, we are distributing sweet boxes to them. May I know if that is enough, or should there be some monetary benefit as well?

HI Under Bonus ACT 1965 every class of employee is eligible for the bonus as per the the act except those are defined under section 32 of the ACT Regards, Yajuvendra Singh Bisht
