In addition to that, ensuring that you have hired the right candidate at the right price, properly administering the performance management system, recruiting fresh talent from college placements, etc., can also help in lowering costs.

Employees will hop, even with the best of references and verification. Therefore, you will have to engage the employees, make the culture more robust and liberal. The culture should be based on openness and not on rules and regulations. Rules and regulations are a part of the culture and not the culture itself. Therefore, employee engagement and openness in the company will help you retain them.

If many employees are resigning, then check the actual reasons for the exits; you may also be surprised by the real reason. Try to eradicate that reason so that more stability is achieved.
