Happiness is a state of mind and thus is very subjective. What makes me happy may not appeal to others. For example, one can be happy to work with new challenges, and others may resent it. Therefore, it is better to conduct a survey among your employees, which is likely to generate more ideas that may work well. Hope this helps.

Dear Gaurav,
The major challenge for business owners is how to fulfill the self-actualization need of employees. This need comes at the top of Abraham Maslow's Theory of Hierarchy of Needs.
Employee engagement is a sign of fulfillment of this need. Secondly, to fulfill this need, you may not have to spend excessive funds. For example, you may send an employee to attend some international seminar. They could be grateful to you for doing this, yet the seminar may not fulfill their self-actualization need. Sometimes, a challenging job may fulfill this need; therefore, look at how to create an intellectually stimulating environment.
Maintaining work-life balance is another way to engage employees. Therefore, first calculate the ratio of official vs. actual hours spent at the workplace. Try to find means of increasing this ratio.
Ok...

The purpose behind my suggestion is to feel the pulse of the employees so that whatever you would like to provide to make the employees happy will come close to their expectations in general. Anyhow, you can think of various low-cost employee engagement initiatives as Job zone suggested. In addition, you can conduct a quiz on product information, if you are a retailer, and award a prize either in cash or in kind to the winners. This will generate interest in the employees to learn more about their products to be ready for the next program.

Making employees happy is really not as daunting as it seems! Little things may help in creating or generating more positivity within the organization. Small things like sending birthday wishes to employees, congratulating them on their joining dates for the number of years of service, wedding anniversary, child birth are all small but valuable gestures which make employees feel one with the organization.
More so to say, a work culture which promotes mutual respect, trust, and allows them to celebrate small things is great. This may include festivals of multicultural acknowledgment of small achievements and motivating them to come forward with suggestions for organizational betterment are also really enriching. The only thing to keep in mind is that as long as there are no barriers owing to hierarchy, religion, or any other discrimination, and all are treated in a fair and equal manner, these above small steps will go a long way!
Happy workplace!

Dear sir,
You can have a hobby-aided session twice a week.
Advantages:
1. Free of cost
2. No need for construction; you can use the roof, park area, or office hall
3. Provided with joy in the company
4. Satisfies Maslow's self-belonging and self-esteem principle
5. When peace of mind is achieved, satisfaction with psychological and security needs comes automatically
UNITE IT FOR BETTER.
Thanks with regards
