Dear All,

I would like to know the health and safety approval required under which act. Why do we need to obtain it? Is it mandatory to get the approval? What are all the documents we need to obtain? Please provide the details.

No such act has been laid down to date. Health & Safety provisions are covered in the Factory Act/Shop Act. You have to ensure that the necessary arrangements are made. There are various NOCs related to Health & Safety that you need to obtain from the respective departments, such as Fire NOC, Pollution NOC, etc.
