To convince companies for a campus interview, you can provide figures of placements done during previous years or always give them the names of good companies that have hired your students.

It won't make any difference if your college is in a remote area. The company will see the quality of the students and not the college location and infrastructure. Another thing is that instead of inviting companies to the college, you can send good and selected students from your end to the particular companies for an interview. It is not necessary to invite them to your college because the college knows who the good candidates are.
Reply for the top engineering college that has just started offering an MBA:
Your college is already famous for its engineering faculty, which means it is not necessary for you to provide detailed information about the college. You can distribute a single-page brochure stating that your college has started an MBA program. Companies will automatically become aware of it.
In a nutshell, there are companies that emphasize premier institutes. However, you will also find companies that value the qualities of the students rather than the tag, as students who graduate from premier colleges demand very high packages that even some good companies cannot afford. So, do not worry about anything. Prepare yourself or the students to face an interview, and then the sky is the limit! 😊
