Dear All,
Greetings for the day.
I have encountered a case in my company. There is one operator who, at the time of registration in ESIC, had his parents pass away earlier. He was living with his two elder brothers, and at that time, he was not married. Therefore, I designated one of his elder brothers as his nominee. However, he is now married, and according to ESIC rules, siblings cannot be nominees after marriage. How can I change his nominee in ESIC now? If this change is possible, what is the procedure?
If anyone mistakenly fills in the wrong person as a nominee and wishes to make a change in the future, is this possible? If so, what is the procedure?
Thank you.
Warm Regards,

How does the issue of nomination arise with regard to ESI benefits for a male insured person? Please cite the rule that states siblings cannot be nominated after marriage.
