Dear all,

I completed my MCA in 2005 but could not work in IT for long due to my marriage and children soon after. I have decided to pursue HR through a distance learning course. I live in Bangalore, but unfortunately, Bangalore University does not offer MBA (Correspondence). So, I have narrowed down to two options - NMIMS (Narsee Monjee) and Symbiosis. Kindly suggest the better option with the pros and cons. Also, I would like to know if there is an entrance exam for NMIMS (Distance Learning). I believe ICFAI is more expensive than the options mentioned.

Awaiting a reply,
Radhika

When choosing between NMIMS and Symbiosis for a distance learning HR program, consider the following:

1. NMIMS (Narsee Monjee):
- Pros: Renowned for its management programs, strong industry connections, and quality education.
- Cons: Might have a rigorous curriculum and higher fees.

2. Symbiosis:
- Pros: Well-established institute with a good reputation in distance education.
- Cons: Curriculum and industry exposure might vary compared to NMIMS.

To determine if NMIMS (Distance Learning) requires an entrance exam, visit their official website or contact their admissions office for accurate information. Regarding cost, ICFAI is known to be relatively expensive. Evaluate the program structures, faculty, alumni network, and course flexibility before making a decision. It's essential to choose a program that aligns with your career goals and offers the necessary support for a successful learning experience.
