I have around 1.4 years of experience in Banking recruitments in consultancy. I have completed a regular MBA in HR and finance. However, my interest does not lie in Recruitments, and I am seeking a profile in Generalist or operations. I am very eager to transition into a company that focuses on the Payroll process.
Whenever I attend interviews for a Generalist role, they are not convinced due to my consultancy experience, as I lack practical knowledge in the Generalist field. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to handle this situation.
