Hi Seniors,
I have completed my Graduation last year and have started working as an HR executive in a software company for the past year. My situation is that I am not able to learn anything about HR aspects here since all the work is handled by my senior HR.
So, I have decided to apply for an MBA in HR through distance education. Some of my friends and family members are suggesting that I pursue some law courses through correspondence.
My question is, can I apply for two courses at two different universities at the same time? Additionally, I do not have any idea about good law colleges or distance learning institutions in India. Could you also provide me with these details?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Priyanka

Hi Priyanka,
I do agree that having an MBA with a Law course is beneficial. However, I doubt if there is any law college that offers courses through correspondence mode. If such an option exists, it would be preferable to pursue a dual course. Additionally, it is advisable to pursue a course while working. When working in an organization, it may be challenging to engage in a dual course due to limited time for work and study.

Yes, you can apply. However, to be eligible to practice law, your LLB must be full-time. You may do an MBA through distance learning and LLB full-time from an institute. You may refer to the following link. The following blog post will help:

What is your age? If you are still in a age for a regular academic you should go for regular courses.

Thank you very much for your great reply, sir. I was shocked to read your articles about the distance education universities/colleges. So, are all these universities/colleges fake? I mean, there was a time when I had decided to do an MBA course from Symbiosis. It's really shocking, but unfortunately, I have to choose the distance mode since I'm working right now. Thank you for providing me with valuable information. :) :)

My age is 21. Going for a regular course is not possible for me as of now, sir, because I have to look after my family and save up money for the future. So, I am planning to pursue it in distance mode so that later on, I can apply for a job change if I have a dual degree at the same time.
