Hi Upasana,

Do you know there is something called the Internet? Please search there. Go to Google and search for it. Unless you search yourself, you will not know what you are really looking for. For instance, you can search here itself, at the top. You will find a space there. Furthermore, there are websites called SlideShare, Slide World, and a host of others that provide PowerPoint presentations.

Please do not expect professionals here to supply you with material as and when you want. This is not a shopping center or a supermarket!

Best wishes

Hi Upasna,

As Mr. Sundaram pointed out, please first search for the information yourself. The topics you mentioned are very common and can be easily found. Ever since I registered on this site, I have never had to ask anyone about anything I wanted to know as this site has become a library in itself. You just have to browse through and search rather than asking for "ready-made material." If you encounter any problems, then seniors and fellow members will definitely help you out.

Upasna,

There is no point in asking for training modules. You need to develop your own training modules based on the training needs assessment you have done for YOUR staff members.

Every week we see requests for training modules here on CiteHR.

Training IS NOT a one-size-fits-all proposition.

Training IS NOT asking someone for a PowerPoint and then just standing there reading the words out with no context, no background, no follow-up, and no relevance to the employee's current situation. If that is all you are going to do, then the trainees can read the material for themselves at their desk.

In particular, training in Health and Fire Safety MUST BE specifically developed based on the particular circumstances in your office, factory, warehouse, or wherever you work. The fire safety training used here where I work would be totally useless for your establishment as it is specifically based on this particular building I work in. All Health training needs to be based on the specific activities of your organization. NO-ONE ELSE CAN PROVIDE A TRAINING MODULE COVERING THAT.

If you are not a trainer, then your organization would be better served by contracting the services of a professional to assess your particular needs and develop relevant training to meet those needs.

Such a short-sighted and casual attitude towards training and developing your staff shows me that management does not appear fully focused on doing what is necessary.

Dear Upasana, Suggest you do your homework first and then seek the knowledge of others to refine it by sharing what you have done. Regards, UG HR professional of 33 yrs

Funnily enough, Upasana says, it has been three days and nobody has responded to her! This falls short of an admonition. The role of a trainer has been so belittled these days. Anybody and everybody wants to become a trainer without adequately preparing themselves for the role!

Thank you for using the correct spelling and grammar in your input.
