Hello Mr. Dilip,
Please guide me on what to do when your employer has mentioned in your appointment letter the following:
"You are not allowed to resign before 12 months of your employment in our organization. If you do so, you have to pay 12 months' salary as compensation towards the training imparted to you."
The employee has signed the appointment letter without reading it carefully and now, just after a few months, wants to leave the organization.
Does this have any legal implications, or can the employee leave simply as bonded labor is banned in India?
Please assist.
Thanks
