Dear Friends,

We might have read a lot of articles about Pepsi and Coca-Cola on our website. Most of them focus on the potential health hazards of these drinks. Unfortunately, the links to some of these articles no longer exist.

But here is a presentation on how Pepsi does business with "water," the most abundant substance on earth. It sheds light on how much money we spend on "buying" water. This presentation can be used as an example of branding, which is fundamental for a company's product to reach the common people. "We may not be able to predict where the world will be, but we can take greater control of an organization's position through branding" - something I read somewhere.

[Link removed due to being outdated] - This link is a prime example that demonstrates the power of branding. Take a look at it and you'll see...Pizza - Domino's, Thirst - Pepsi, Microsoft - Bill Gates, and so much more. There's no doubt, we might even buy air in the future if its brand is marketed well!

This discussion about branding pertains to products, but it also applies to job searches - Personal Branding. Only if we personally brand ourselves can we market our skills in interviews and build a career.

“You have no choice but to actively market your personal brand. No one else will do it for you.”

If anyone knows more about Personal Branding, please share your views.
