Hi Varun,
The payslip which is attached is fake. However, we cannot decide the components of the payslip......... But the PT is nowhere deducted as Rs 80.00 for this much of payment.. According to statutory norms it has to be Rs.200.00.. There is no PF deduction as well.

Hi
As Varun said, the attached certificate is fake. For all the salary components there is some basic formula followed , for example basic should be 40% of the Total CTC and HRA should be 40 % of the basic etc.
If the candidate vouches the certificate is correct, ask the candidate to show the bank statement copy.
Hope this clarifies

Hi Varun..
The salary slip is completely fake.. As said by other members,
Medical allowance and conveyance allowance is also doubtful.. because no any company wants to put taxes on any body's salary.. as only 1250/- rupees on medical is exempted from taxes.. and 825/- as conveyance..

Amit Seth.

Dear Varun,
The payslip is clearly a fake, 1st of all it shows that Rs.80/- is deducted as PT, but in India, PT is deducted in 2 ways - Rs. 200/- for Non IT and Rs.400/- for IT.
Also there wont be 2 terms called Basic and Net Basic.
At times, there might not be a PF deduction (in case of employees less than 20 in that Org). however that you can check out by the size of the company.
regards
Harsha.

Hi Varun
Ask for his appointment letter and the recent appraisal letter that he has received from his current company which states his annual compensation
Also ask him to submit his past 3 months salary slip which will help you decide upon the salary - whether fake or real
Hope this might help you
if you are in anyway in such a situation, always ask for any documentation as mentioned above from the candidate and he will have to provide it to you, if he is not bluffing
