I work as a finance and administrative officer in our organization. My office wants an accounting software that has analytical bookkeeping levels. For instance, an invoice should be able to be booked as follows:
Level 1: department = RA (regional advisor)
Level 2: donor = DGD (the mission is in function of the DGD programme)
Level 3: Specific objective 5 (in the DGD budget, this is foreseen on SO5 for 100%)
Level 4: expected result 5.2
Level 5: management cost
So here we are using 5 levels for the registration of the invoice in the analytical bookkeeping.
Another example:
The salary of a staff member is booked as follows:
In the double bookkeeping, it is booked on the specific ledger account salaries. At the same time, the analytical booking is done as follows:
For 60% of his salary
Level 1: department = FD (FD = financial department)
Level 2: donor = DGD
Level 3: Specific objective 5
Level 4: expected result 5.2
Level 5: management cost
Level 6: personnel
