Recent analysis of recruiting new employees shows that the stability of their continuance in the organization is for a very minimal period. Attrition increases due to resignations of employees, after the strenuous efforts taken by the employer, such as calling the executives for interviews, analyzing skills, and placing trust in them by delegating responsibilities to make the objectives, needs, and goals user-friendly. The quantum of time spent and cost incurred leads to no gain if employees quit very often and switch jobs frequently. How can the employer effectively control or manage human resources? Better suggestions and controls for retaining personnel are welcome. Measures that can be followed during interviews or provisions to hold them accountable under the law. How to differentiate oscillating-minded people and gain control over them to achieve organizational excellence. The impact of the increase in attrition will affect the growth of the organization.

Dear Chitra,
The world is far more competitive. To sustain the competition, you must invest in employee recruitment, training, etc. If you don't do that, you will not sustain the competition. Employers are doing all this to promote their business and nothing else. They don't have an altruistic desire to do all this.
Attrition is linked to your organizational culture. Fix the cultural issues first, and then come back to attrition. If people are leaving, there seems to be a gap between the perceptions of management and the perceptions of the employees.
Because of fierce competition, attrition is here to stay. However, it is important to manage attrition to your advantage also. Outsiders bring dynamism. They bring a new thought process, which the existing employees would not have brought.
As far as bringing law is concerned to force the employees to work for a certain period, it is against our constitution. Frankly speaking, it is the management's failure to retain the employees. It is a failure of their leadership qualities. For this, you cannot have a constitutional amendment.
By the way, you have written to amend the law. But then how many employers follow labor laws to the last detail? How many times have employers been penalized for not following the labor laws of the land? If you could study these facts or conduct a survey, it would enrich everyone's knowledge - yours as well as ours.
By the way, before their closure, the owners of Subhiksha never paid the salary of their employees for a couple of months. Neither did they deposit employees' PF contributions or any other statutory payments. Even after two years, they are moving with impunity. Would you mind recommending strict enforcement of some law for employers who cheat their employees?
Thanks,
