Dear All,

Just find the attached circular from <link no longer exists - removed> which is self-explanatory. I hope a few members from the forum will take advantage of this post to conduct a safety poster competition as an event in your organization during this year's National Safety Day Celebrations.

What we did was send this circular to all our employees along with an offer of internal prizes to the participants.

Let's join hands together in spreading awareness towards safety in all fields of life.

Dear All,

59 people have downloaded the earlier posted circular. But how many thought of participating in the competition? How many considered sending it to the concerned individuals? None. If even 10 people had thought of participating, this event could have been more successful.

As part of this mega competition, isplonline.com has received only 27 entries. It's my pleasure and pride to inform you that all the entries are from our employees' kids. I am attaching those entries here as a PDF file. This was created for internal online evaluation of safety posters.

Now, I request all forum members who are interested to motivate the children to visit the link below and comment on the posters they like:

If anyone is promoting safety, please provide any possible help from our side as well. Don't be a NATO when it comes to safety - No Action, Talk Only (NATO).

Let's join hands in the journey of safety. I hope to see at least a few comments on isplonline.com.

Dear Dipil,

I had already seen the posters, and they are too good, innovative. You all will be amazed to see the creativity of the little minds. You all must see and comment on them as motivation.

Thanks,

Dear Senior,

From the HR department, I want to send a circular to all my employees to wear helmets while driving two-wheelers, as one of our employees has recently been in an accident.

Please send me a draft of the circular.

Regards,
Venkat

Dear Venkat,

My suggestion on this case is to draft a company policy as the best way to encourage your employees to wear helmets through company policy.

Before sending a circular to your employees, please draft a policy stating that wearing a helmet is mandatory while driving a two-wheeler (only inside the company premises). Your policy must highlight the local regulation that states wearing a helmet is mandatory. We can advise our employees to use helmets outside the company premises as well, but if they fail to follow this, it is up to them.

In this case, if I were in your place, I would invite all the people/employees to a weekend party where they should attend with their families (married individuals should attend with their spouses, unmarried individuals should attend with their parents, and I highly suggest their mothers attend). Begin the party by thanking all the employees for their support, and then announce the new policy regarding helmets. Explain the reason briefly (using a PowerPoint presentation can add value) and request the spouses/parents to always remind their sons/daughters/wives/husbands to use helmets when leaving home. This way, they can reinforce the habit at home, which is the best way to implement these practices into daily life.

Note: The implementation may vary depending on the number of employees in your company.

Please check the CITEHR FIND INFO TAB for a lot of information, such as the kinds of issues you may face after sending a circular, as everyone tends to have reasons for everything.

Please see the attachments; I hope it helps. (I downloaded the attached PowerPoint presentation from here as well.)

Thank you.
