My dream is to build a career in a corporate company. How can I pursue a career in the corporate world? What should my plan be?

Myself Amit Seth working with an IT company in Ahmedabad. It's not necessary that you must have a degree from a premier institution to pursue a career in the corporate world. Since you have experience now, you can apply directly to corporations through their websites. Alternatively, you can register yourself with popular job sites and submit your CV to reputable consultancies. I am sure you will achieve positive outcomes.

Being from a premier institute is an advantage, but not the sole criterion for achieving one's dreams. Most corporates look for relevant experience and talent, which is not institute-specific. With the right skills and attitude, there is no stopping you, lady :)
If we hone our skills, HR and interpersonal, keep ourselves updated about the industry news, and maintain a learning attitude, we can achieve a lot. The 1-2 years that you'll spend in your current company, try to learn as much as possible. One advantage that you'll have is that you can experiment with ideas - you'll have a lesser number of employees to administer them to. Also, small companies and startups require HR functions to be developed and implemented from scratch, which gives awesome hands-on experience. So all the best. :)

It doesn't matter which MBA institute you attended; the only thing that matters are the interactive and psychological skills you possess. Try to interact more with people at all levels, starting from the top to the bottom, and consider trialing your ideas before implementation.

Premier institutes help you get the first big break and also assist you in building a strong network. If you didn't attend one of these institutions, you will need to demonstrate through other means that you possess equal capability and drive. It's a challenge, but not impossible.
After gaining a few years of work experience, your previous roles and accomplishments become more significant. Consider incorporating additional 'merit signals' into your resume, such as outstanding performance in a company, awards, promotions, or unique contributions – anything that highlights your strengths to others.
