Dear Friends,
Can anybody help us to know the what matter can be written so that the letter can be said as a formal Resignation Acceptance Letter.
Whether, the letter should include information such as :
1. Date of Resignation
2. Date of Relieving
3. Date of Joining
4. Designation, etc.
If anybody is having a format kindly share.

Hi Shankar
In a formal resignation acceptance letter, one can simply mention in the following manner -
Mr. 'name' working as 'designation' in our organisation has resigned from his services on 'date' . His resignation has been accepted and he shall be relieved from his duties on 'date', subject to clearance of all dues
:)

My query is, whether the letter should include DOJ as well. Regards, Shankar, HR- Reliance Comm. Navi Mumbai

Hi Shankar I don’t think you need not mention the DOJ coz in any case you would be giving a final relieving letter in which you would mention the DOJ. 8) Manasi

:D

Hi.

You need to know few things in order to understand the difference between the following:

resignation acceptance letter

relieving letter

Experience letter

resignation acceptance letter:

you need to mention the date when the person has resigned, the things (ID cards, uniform, manuals, stationery etc) that need to be handed over to the concerned superior, the name of the person whom to handover the pending work, and the last date of working.

relieving letter:

Firstly a relieving letter can only be given when every thing that the employee owes the company has been handed over. secondly the relieving letter will mention that the person is being relieved on the last working day and when the F & F will come through.

Experience Letter:

This will contain the duration from when the employee was associated with the company, The designation held by the employee at the time of seperation, And anything else that you would like to highlight regarding the person, else just finish it with your best wishes for the employees new endeavour.

I hope this helps.

Hi,
You can combine all in a format like this.
This is acknowledge that Mr./Ms. ....... who was working as .............. with our organisation, since .............. has been relieved from his /her duties with effect from today.
During the tenure with us, his/her conduct is .........
