Hi there,
In order for you to be accepted as an intern in an organization, you require the following documents:
• A letter from the institute, college, university where you are studying, or from your mentor, to provide a recommendation letter to support your request. You can either choose specific organizations and have your tutor address them personally, or write a general "to whom it may concern" letter that you can send to multiple organizations simultaneously.
• A letter of request from you to the organization(s) where you are seeking the internship. You can either choose specific organizations and address them individually, or write a general "to whom it may concern" letter that you can send to multiple organizations at once.
• Your CV detailing your accomplishments.
• Both letters need to be specific to the internship requirements to show the sponsoring organization that you are serious and know what you want.
• Inviting them to request further information about you will demonstrate your confidence and transparency.
• Send the letter of request to as many organizations as possible, keeping an open mind as you never know who will respond.
Please find attached a sample of the documents that I have put together. You can use a template and refine it as much as possible, as this template is basic. Do not limit yourself to its content.
