Hi,
There is a notification released by the government. However, one provision states that if an ESI Dispensary is not available within 18 of that particular site, then you have an exemption from ESI. But, you must show medical safety for the employees.

Find attached herewith the notification from ESIC clarifying that the ESIC is not applicable to the Construction Industry. Moreover, please clarify with the ESIC department if ESIC is requesting contributions to determine whether the area is covered or not.

I am Arun Singhal working as a Personnel Manager. In the appointment letter, it is stated that either 30 days' notice or, in lieu, 30 days' pay is to be paid or deducted in case of resignation or termination. What shall be the deduction if the basic pay is Rs 6800/- and the gross salary is Rs 12000/- per month.
