Dear All,
I've recently joined a manufacturing company and after working, I realized that their salary structure is very poor and unorganized, causing discrimination.
My colleague and I are looking to present a new structure to the management.
Kindly help us in forming a new salary structure for our heavy plant machinery manufacturing unit.
Thanks in advance,
Geetanjali!

Hi Sumit Sahoo,
First of all, congratulations on getting into the manufacturing sector.
You have to find out first whether your company comes under the Central Government or State Government because if that is the case, you can't change much in the structure of the salary except for a few modifications.
Get a complete structure from nearby similar industries, visit them, and inquire about the various positions they offer and their corresponding benefits.
Create job descriptions and job specifications for each position and determine the appropriate salary for those roles. Only then will you be able to ascertain whether there is any disparity.
I hope you and your colleagues have gathered information regarding the salary structure of nearby similar industries. I work in a PSU, so our salary structure is well-defined, and there is limited room for modification. Therefore, we have introduced various schemes to compensate for this. It's not just us; many other companies have taken similar steps.
If you would like information about our pay structure, feel free to email me.

Dear All,
I have recently joined a manufacturing company and after working for some time, I realized that they do not have any salary structure. This is because it's a newly established organization and is quite unorganized, leading to discrimination issues.
My colleague and I are in the process of developing a new wages structure to propose to the management in order to enhance the HR systems.
We kindly request your assistance in creating a new salary structure for our heavy plant machinery manufacturing unit.
Thanks & Regards,
