- Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements
- Help expand the client base by identifying and growing current client portfolios

Job Description
Ensure compliance with the various commercial, corporate, industrial, mercantile, labor and foreign exchange laws applicable to all the six FSSs in Hyderabad;
Assisting in preparation for convening of Board and Shareholder meetings for the six legal entities, issue of notices, preparation of agenda, presentations and supporting papers and
maintenance of minutes and statutory records;
Monitor that all transactions of the Company are within the ambit of the applicable laws;
Ensure completion and filing of all returns/ documents with the various regulatory authorities;
Have regular interaction with statutory authorities like the Software Technology Parks of India (need basis at times), Registrar of Companies, Company Law Board, Foreign Investment Promotion Board, Customs and Excise Departments, Reserve Bank of India, etc.;
Track the regular changes/ amendments in various applicable regulations and keep the management posted on these amendments and the implications of these amendments on the companies;
Interaction with local and overseas contacts for Board issues;
Drafting of legal contracts for clients and vendors;
Participate in interaction with the US Legal Team on various compliance and legal issues in Region 10;
Provide regular and timely feedback to management; be proactive in the identification and resolution of issues that may have an impact on the Company;
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential: Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Graduate in Law (or in final stages of completion); and must be keen to build a career in corporate affairs and legal specialization.
At least 1-3 years of post qualification experience in compliance and legal matters of which at least 1 year should be in a mid-size organization or preferably an MNC;
Must have awareness/ knowledge of all laws applicable to IT and ITES companies in India;
Prior experience in an IT or ITES company would be considered as a major plus point;
An up-to-date knowledge of all Indian commercial, corporate, industrial, labor and mercantile laws;
Ability to manage a variety of compliance and legal issues with varying levels of complexity to successful completion;
Excellent written, verbal analytical and communications skills;
Excellent drafting skills for corporate compliance and legal documentation;
Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex issues;
Confident in representing to various Government authorities
Good organization and planning skills;
Can perform routine company law work independently with little direct supervision.
Ability to multi-task on a regular basis and handle number of matters simultaneously;
Can assist in defining legal issues accurately and finding practical answers to complex questions or problems. Thinking outside the box. Uses knowledge gained through prior experience, education, training to resolve issues and problems;
Drive for results. Maintains constant awareness of deliverables and is focused on recurring and non-recurring tasks;
Preferably must have worked under a Company Secretary in a Board having expatriate Directors.
Preferably previous experience in implementing a Compliance Framework.
